Well done to players, management and supporting parents. The lads will be preparing for their match at the weekend by putting in great training sessions.

Seniors:
This week seen the lads take on Monaghan Town in the league. In the early stages of the match both teams settled well, with Cathal o Flathery Niall bannigan and John mcKenna strong in defence. The Academy had a few chances in what was a tough first half, Francis Leonard and Kevin Mc Manus getting close. The second half kicked off and it wasn't long before Francis leonard had the ball in the back of Monaghan's net with a great finish. As the Academy pressed on they were awarded with another goal which was took well by Kevin McManus., Monaghan hit back soon after but the Academy kept their shape and soon finished off the game with a lovely third goal by Eamonn Ward. Training resumes tuesdays and fridays.
