Seniors - The senior season ended on Saturday night last when Magheracloone defeated Blayney 0-09 to 0-07 in the league semi-final. Magheracloone started the brighter and led by five points at the interval aided in no small way to Blayneys wastefulness in front of goal. The second half was a similar story with Blayney having the better of the exchanges but time and time again shooting wide from promising positions and they were still two points adrift when the referee blew the final whistle.

AGM - The club AGM will take place this year on Wednesday 1st of December at 8.00PM in the Enterprise Centre, as with recent years the meeting will be preceded at 7.30PM by mass for deceased members of the club.

Sporting Auction - The O'Connor family are hosting a sporting auction to raise funds for Castleblayney Cancer Society in memory of the late Liam "Barber" O'Connor who passed away earlier this year. The event takes place in Corrigans Kitchen on Friday 3rd of December. Any help or support would be greatly appreciated.

Scόr Na nOg: With the night's drawing in and action on the field winding down the focus moves to off the field activities and after a gap of a couple of years the club are delighted to be returning to Scόr Na nOg. Our acts will perform in one of the semi-finals which take place in Tullycorbett on November 26th and in Tydavnet on November 27th with the final in Ardaghey on Saturday, December 4th. More details over the coming weeks.

Winter Training Programme - The programme continues tonight (Thursday) with Boys U6 at Rath na nOg (6-7PM), Girls U6/U8/U10 in the Convent gym (6-7PM), Boys U8 on the Convent Astroturf (6-7PM) and Boys U10 Convent Astroturf (7-8PM).
