seniors: This week seen the boys play in the FAI Cup 2nd round in emyvale. Their oppenents were St. Catherines F.C from Donegal, The lads got off to a bad start conceding early on, The Academy came into the game more the longer it went on but a very good St. Catherines team went on to win the match 4-0. It was a debut in this competition for a Blayney team an alot has been learned. The lads can now focus on the league now with a match against cavan celtic on sunday. Training resumes saturdays and tuesdays on astro turf @7pm.

u16's: The lads had a bad result this week with a 5-1 loss to a tough clones town side. The boys kept their heads up the whole match and never gave up which is great for the town an club. The lads will hopefully lift there heads up for their match at the weekend. There is a great group of lads on this team an they are very ambitious which is great to hear. Training resumes on astro @6:30pm on Mondays. Anyone wishing to join the club contact tommy 085-7621503 or declan 087-6230153

u8's: The Academy held a blitz for this group with great success, players from all the blayney teams turned out to lend a hand and support on the astro turf last saturday. It was great to see the different clubs come down an enjoying a day out watching and supporting their children. The whole day was a great success and well done to the Blayney Academy F.C for organising it. Training resumes in gym @5:30pm on Mondays. Any sponsorship would be greatly appreciated.
