RESULTS AND NEWS FROM LAST WEEK

 

In what was a very tough young bird national race last Friday the Monaghan birds had to navigate the 209 mile from Skibereen County Cork and the Cooney Brothers were the victors on the day. The birds were liberated at 10am and the winning birded was timed at 3.35pm great going on hard flying day so well done to the Cooney’s.

As last week was the final race of the season the club would like to thank the Northern Standard and all the local media for their excellent coverage this season and also the people of Monaghan who supported are club raffle which raised much needed funds for the club and to all who supported us this season through sponsorship.
