Seniors: Well done to the Blayney Boys in their 1-0 win against Virginia on Saturday. A very encouraging display by the lads with plenty of attacks and shots. Although the Blayney Boys left it late to get the goal,  it was well worked with a pass from Justin Hanratty to Francis Leonard, who slotted the ball into the net. It was an all round good team performance. Blayney Academy would also like to thank Killylough for the use of their pitch. Training resumes in Drumillard on tuesday and saturday @6pm
u16: Hard luck to Blayney Academy with a 3-2 defeat against Bay United. The blayney boys are looking better with each training and each game. It was an impressive performance by the boys and very encouraging signs for the start of the season. Training resumes Monday @6pm in Drumillard.
u13: Sunday morning seen the Blayney academy u13 team take on a tough Drumlin youths f.c side. Blayney fell behind early on but fought back well to be 2-1 up at half time with a brillant double from Ethan McCann.  Blayney were soon 3-1 up which Drumand fighting back to make it 3-3. In a tough game blayney ended up winning 5-4 with Ethan McCann getting a second half double and Brandon Rice notching one aswell. Encoraging signs for the boys aswell ahead of the league. u8's: Play in Carrickmacross this Saturday meeting @3pm for their final Monaghan league fixtures. Their are exciting plans ahead for this team and will be revealed on Saturday. Training continues every Monday 6pm.
