Blayney Academy
Saturday, 18 February 2012 11:38
The only Academy team in action last weekend were the Academy Girls. They took on Drumkill in an action packed match which saw goals from both team's, but it was Blayney who came out on top defeating Drumkill. Well done to theses talented young girls who are taking the league by storm. The Senior team had a weekend off but with only four league matches left there will be no more breaks until the season ends. This Saturday (18th) they take on Bailie Youths in Gortakeegan at 5:00pm and the following Saturday (25th) they travel to Clara Lane to face Cootehill Harps at 3:00pm. Training continues for all the Academy teams as usual and any child who wishes to join any of the underage team's is more than welcome. See the rota below to find out the training times and schedule. Best wishes to Ray who is currenlty out injured for the Senior team and will miss the rest of the season.
