| SENIORS
Best of luck to our senior team who travel to Omagh this Sunday for their Ulster Intermediate championship quarter final clash with Kildress Wolfe Tones. Game starts at 12.45 in Healy Park Omagh. Please support! Sunday is a double header with the Ulster senior club championship game between Dromore of Tyrone and Ballinderry of Derry taking place at 2.30pm. We are also into the final of the Intermediate league following our win over Rockcorry on Sunday last and will play Currin next weekend.
MASS
Mass for deceased members will take place in St. Josephs church on Friday 4th November at 7.30pm.
AGM
Date for AGM has been decided for Friday 25th November in the Emmet Centre.
CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Carricks David Connolly who has won a London senior championship medal last weekend with Fulham Irish GAC. Fulham Irish are only 5 years in existence and this is their first senior victory so well done to them.
JUVENILES
We have O Neills 22 inch juvenile kit bags for sale complete with Carrick Emmets crest, priced 24euro. Would make excellent birthday or Christmas presents. Please contact Francie McGinn if you would like to order one.
LADIES
Our minor girls played Latton on Friday last in Cloghan. This was a good game and the girls gave it everything. The game was in the balance right up to the final whistle but we lost out by two points. This puts an end to our chances for this year but we hope to bounce back.
The ladies club took the senior girls on an adventure trip to A.W.O.L. Adventure centre in Emyvale on Sunday last. This was a team building exercise and all the girls had a ball. We would like to thank Tony, Aiden and Fiona for all their help and in making this a wonderful experience. We came back to the Greenmount for lunch afterwards and we would like to thank Tina and her staff for looking after us. We hope this will put the girls in the mood to work harder for next season. We would like to thank Orla and Marie who won the money to part fund this trip.
We would like to wish a speedy recovery to Lisa Cassidy after her operation and hope to see her back out playing soon.
The club would like to wish the best of luck to Inniskeen and Donaghmoyne in their respective Ulster finals this week-end. Let’s keep the Monaghan flag flying Ladies.
