Latton GFC Notes – Week Beginning October 17th 2011
* Lotto
On Sunday 16th numbers drawn were: 13 - 15 - 10 - 26 Bonus No.22. No winner. €20 winners: Danielle Sullivan, Rocky Street – Seamus McElroy, Mullinault – Joy Hayes, Cootehill – Joseph Mooney, Rockcorry – Kay Duffy, Drumhannon Latton. THIS WEEKS JACKPOT: €15,300. Draw will take place in Latton GAA Centre this Sunday night.
* Senior Football
The Seniors beat Ballybay by the narrowest of margins in the league semi-final last Sunday. Ballybay 0-09 Latton 0-10. We wish the players & management the best of luck in this Sundays final v Clontibret as they go in search of the clubs first ever Senior Double. Latton GAA Centre will be the meeting point after the game.
Later down the line we will face Donegal champions Glenswilly in the Quarter-final stages of the Ulster Club Championship on Sunday November 13th in Ballybofey.
* Juvenile Football
This Saturday it's the turn of our smaller footballers in the National Schools Final: St.Marys Latton NS v Edenmore NS (Emyvale) at 11.30am in Cloghan.
All support would be appreciated.
Committee Meeting
A meeting of the Executive Committee will take place tonight (Thursday) at 9pm.
Race Night
The local Fingers & Toes Community Childcare facility thanks all those who attended last Saturday night. Worthwhile funds were raised & a good night’s fun was had by all.

Retirement function
Will be held for Committee member Francis O’Brien, former Senator and member of Monaghan County Council, in recognition of his 32 years serving the public. The function will take place in the Glencarn Hotel on November 12th, dinner served at 8.30pm, followed by dancing to Mr. Music.
