Blayney Academy
The senior team enjoyed another successful win against Donagh Celtic in Emyvale on Saturday evening. 3-2 was the final score of a hard faught match. The goals came from Cathal O Flaherty (penalty) Martin McCabe and Eamon Ward, The team has improved immensely from last year and are settling into the league very well. The U-18s team weren't as lucky losing their first match of the season 2-1, a huge welcome to the eight new members of the U-18s squad, another trophy is looking very likely for this team. The U8S and U10s travelled to Monaghan on Friday for league finals, the U8s drew one game and lost one game, the U10s won two games and lost one. A big thanks to all the parents who turned up and supported the teams, its very much appreciated. Every player who turned up got plenty of game time, which is what our club is all about. Next weeks match fixtures have not yet been announced. you can find out about upcomming matches and events on facebook.
