Having had recent victories against teams from Meath, Cavan and Louth the mens preseason hots up as they travel to Dublin this weekend to play a top team on the southside.With new members joining every week all the teams are growing in strength. The Academys Summer Camp is starting on the 15th of August. A week full of football with UEFA qualified coaches from 10am to 1pm at the iontas astro turf where we will be taking u8, u10 and u15 teams. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who would like to join the club and at only €25 is the cheapest and best camp in Monaghan. A great time and loads of fun is guaranteed. Blayney Academy FC ready to hit the "Back of the Net"
Would you like to be more active and get fit? Like to meet new people and try something different?
Maybe you would like to take part in a new local well-being sports programme called "Back of the Net". This community programme is being run for the first time ever in Castleblayney.
Blayney Academy FC with the assistance of Dublin City University, The FAI and Rath Na... Nog High Support Service will be running the new programme.
An initial training session will take place on Sat 13th at 11.30am at Our Ladies Astro turf, so dust of the old runners and come down for an hour of FREE football. The official launch will take place on Saturday the 20th.
You do not need to be a member of any club to take part and we would love to see more people who may have no experience in football come down for and hour of fun and light exercise. For more information, contact Blayney Academy's Director of coaching Barry Dolan on 0868377001

U18 and Senior temas are in Drumillard at 7.00 Tuesdays and Thursdays
