Wednesday, 13 July 2011 08:44
blayney_academy_u_10__2With a very successful first season, Blayney Academy began its first steps into second season this week with pre-season training at the Iontas Astro Turf. There was a great turn out for all teams with plenty of new faces which is a really good sign of things to come.
The U-8s played Killylough on Sunday morning, Plenty of parents and supporters turned up to see this young squad preform with two noticeable mentions, Daragh Quinn who has scored 15 goals in 3 matches and David Hill who put a screamer of a goal in the top corner, The U-10s weren't so lucky as they lost at the weekend, but with the squad increasing in size weekly and recent outstanding play by Jason Nichol and Dean Carragher the losses will be few and far between.
