Monaghan United Monaghan United will hope to bounce back quickly for last weeks defeat to Shelbourne when they meet Wexford Youths at Ferrycarrig Park. On paper it would look like any easy enough assignment for second from the top United against second from bottom Wexford. But the Youths have home advantage and are always difficult there. Last week it looked like they were going to pick up a valuable away point at Athlone Town when the sides went in at half time level, but a second half brace from the home side put paid to that hope.Although suffering their second defeat of the season United can be well satisfied with the overall performance and for much of that game against \Shelbourne particularly in the second half were much the better side. Roddy Collins should have a strong squad to select from and his recent signings should strengthen it further. An away win is well within United capabilities.
