 Blayney Academys U-8s and U-10s visited Gortakeegan this week to take on both Monaghan town and Monaghan United, each team played two matches and after very impressive displays of talent against tough competitors they were victorious on both occasions with one match even ending in a penalty shootout. Every child on the team got on during the matches to show of their skills, Congratulations to both teams, their manager Seamus Eccles and all the other parents on a job well done. The winning team members U-8 Dylan Mckenna, Connor Eccles, David Hill, Ethan McKenna, James OBrien, Daragh Quinn, Shane McBennett U-10 Osion McKenna, Connor Mckenna, Andrew Connolly, Sean Callan, Ciaran Smith, Danny Nolan, Joe and Paddy Toome Academy’s senior team host 6 aside every Tuesday at 7pm in Drumillard, new players aged 17+ welcome.
