| This is the second annual Ballybay Wetlands Duathlon. The event is organised by Muckno Triathlon club in association with Ballybay Development Association and Monaghan Sports Partnership. The event takes place during National bike week at the scenic wetlands centre on the clones road approx 1 Km outside Ballybay. The run section of the race takes place in the grounds of the wetlands  centre. The cycle section of the race is around two loopsof achallanging course with mixture of hills and flat sections. The event starts at 7 pm with registration opening on the evening of the race from 6 pm. The cost of race entry is €15 payable on the night. Prizes and refreshments will be served after the race. The event is suitable for all ages and abilities as long as you can run and cycle. |
