Seniors: The Blayney seniors were playing in a semi final last Sunday. The lads put in a great display and had plenty of chances to win the game but unfortunately ended in a 2-0 defeat by Monaghan town, As the season comes to a close the lads are still fighting for third spot with 2 games to go.
U16'S: The lads played last weekend in Clara Lane against lavey in the shield semi final with the score 6-3 in favour of the Academy, Blayney played some great football with kevin mackin putting in a man of the match performance. Well done to the team and hopefully push on and win the Shield. Well done to the boys on winning their league in the first year.
Quiz Night: on the 28th April in Dignams Bar at 8.30pm. Only 40 a table of 4 with music and picture rounds this promises to be the greatest weekend opener to the May Day Parade weekend! Prizes galore and a great night to be had.
Club Development: the club is now well underway with next seasons preparations with seniors and u13's in league semi finals and u16 in the championship final, it is clear that the player development pathway has been a great success. We will be making some exciting additions to the club and it's commitment to the Castleblayney community in the coming weeks so look out for our initiatives and all support welcome.
