A total of 278 students from Co. Monaghan have entered paintings in this year’s 57th Texaco Children’s Art Competition. Overall , in excess of 30,000 entries were received with students from each of the 32 counties taking part. Judging of entries is currently taking place and winners will be announced in early-April. This will be followed by the prize-giving ceremony which takes place in May.
