This afternroon a four vehicle collision Between Tyholland and Pipers Bridge occured.

An Articulated  Lorry, van and two cars were involved in the incident.

A close source to the Gardai has said that "it looks like the Articulated Lorry had lost control and ploughed into the vehicle in front starting the pile-up."

Weather conditions had made the road quite greasy due to the rainfall.

Their has been no report of serious injury as yet.

The area continues to be sealed off for the clear up operation at this time. Drivers are warned that diversions are in place and delays might take place.
