Newbliss man James Dunwoody has recently opened the Lakeside Physiotherapy Clinicsituated on Glaslough Street, Car Park, Monaghan Town.
James a native of Newbliss a former Trinity Colleg Student, where he graduated
from in 1996 with a degree in Physiotherapy. Following his studies he worked as a senior
physiotherapist in hospitals and private practices in Ireland, England and Australia and
throughout the years has gained extensive experience in managing general
musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and sports injuries.
James has also spent time working as physiotherapist with the Republic of Ireland under age soccer teams (FAI) as well as serving as physio for senior club GAA football in Kildare. In Australia, he was also employed as a Rehabilitation Consultant which involved managing the return to work of injured clients, applying ergonomic and occupational health principles. He has undergone extensive post graduate training to ensure that evidence based best practice is maintained at all times. James is a Chartered Physiotherapist that is a health professional, allied to the medical profession, that applies science-based health care to diagnose and treat physical disorders.
