Cstleblayney Man Wins National Award

LeixiRecently a  young Castleblayney man  became one of the youngest persons ever  to receive a long service Medal for 20 years service as a Fire Fighter.

The National Award was presented to 38 year old Chuck Callan at a special Award Ceremony in the Red Cow Inn, Dublin. Chuck has dedicated 20 years service to the Castleblayney Fire Service.

Chuck who is one of the 9 members of the Castleblayney Fire Service was also featured in the National Fire Services Journal which is produced by the National Retained Fire Fighters Association of Ireland.
