Gardai in Monaghan are investigating what they've described as a sudden death in a house in Clones overnight.

In a statement they have said that the body of a 27 year old Ukrainian man was discovered in a house on Mc Curtain street in the town late last night.

The man is believed to have been employed  at the meat factory in the town.

His body was taken to Our Lady’s Hospital in Navan where a Post Mortem is being carried out.

Gardai say they  are waiting for the results of the Post Mortem before any action if any can be taken and the scene is being preserved until then also.
