The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul in the Monaghan region says this has been their toughest year in recent times.
They have noted that die to the economical problems locally and nationally in some instances, those who have contributed to the charity in the past,
are becoming the ones who require their assistance.The group is thanking anyone who contributed this year and is urging people to continue to give generously
if they can afford to do so and that every little bit counts. Vice President of St Vincent de Paul in Cavan Monaghan, John Rooney,
says that those under financial burden should make contact with their local branch.
