The Growing in Peace group wish to announce a Harvest Celebration on Thursday 28^th Oct between 7-9 pm in the

in the iontas centre Castleblayney.

This event is part of the overall Halloween Peace Festival in Castleblayney for the week end of the 28^th Oct to 31^st

Oct. The harvest celebration will include, harvest prayers, food tasteing, display of produce from community gardens, vintage display, Castleblayney farmers market as well as a valuable free recipe book. A Fancy dress completion will take place for children which two sections/themes- traditional Halloween and vegetable theme. In addition a competition for the best local pumpkin/turnip will take place. The Growing in Peace project is part financed by the European Union’s European Regional Development fund through the Peace III Programme funded through Monaghan Peace III Partnership.
