A Monaghan Sub Aqua Club Charity Raft Race will take place this weekend in conjunction with the Castleblayney Muckno Mania Festival.

The race will be held on Saturday, 17 July and will begin at 12pm sharp. Each raft costs €200 with four people to a raft. People are asked to register on Thursday night, 15 July in Monaghan Sub Aqua Club House, Muckno Street, Castleblayney. The proceeds of the race are all in aid of charity. Branches of Co Monaghan Cancer Care and Hospice and Monaghan Underwater Search and Recovery Unit will benefit from the funds raised.
