Focus ! – Getting on line in 2012

The next meeting on the Monaghan E-Commerce Network  takes place on Tuesday evening , January 31st in the Four Seasons , Monaghan at 7.00 pm

Any  Monaghan company trading on line would have seen a huge increase in trade over the Christmas period, www.BrixWorkwear.com for example saw a fourfold increase over Christmas 2011. So why aren’t more Monaghan companies on line already? Or why are the ones that are not devoting more time and energy to it ?

On line sales in Ireland are increasing exponentially and there is also huge potential for export sales to the UK. So you need to get started now.

The Monaghan E-Commerce Network is a free to join group of Monaghan businesses that are trading on line or planning to. Each month we meet on the last Tuesday and either have a general discussion on what we’re doing individually , developments on line or we have a guest speaker that will give us a presentation on some relevant topic. Last year we had some great presentations on Linked In, Facebook and Social Media.

Next week’s meeting will be a group discussion on how we traded over Christmas  and our plans for this year. We’ll also be putting a plan together of topics and speakers or companies that we’d like to invite to give a presentation this year.
