The countdown for PáircFEST 2010 has begun! The open air rock concert which is set to take place in Newbliss on Saturday, 17 July will see some of the best tribute bands in the country take to the stage in a musical extravaganza. The unique festival will see the biggest tribute acts in the country; the Bon Jovi Experience, our very own Knights of Leon and none other than AZ/DZ take to the stage in Sarsfield Park. Up and coming Irish bands such as Speedkings, Raw Dawgs and Gascan Ruckus will be supporting the main acts ensuring a line-up that is guaranteed to please all music lovers. PáircFEST is being promoted by Killeevan Sarsfields GAA Club and Darren Greenan, chairman of the club said,“We are looking forward to a great day’s entertainment in Newbliss, the day before the Ulster Football final, just four miles in the road in Clones. With the provision of the camping facilities we hope people will come to our event and camp overnight before heading into Clones the next morning for the big match!” Gates open at 1pm with bands taking to the stage at 3pm. This event will have alcohol on site and I.D. is strictly required for entry. There is also camping available which can be booked on day of the event on production of valid wristband.
