Moxie Girl Makes it from Monaghan to Kenmare in time for Christmas.
A six year old girl from Kenmare will have her Christmas wish come true thanks to the efforts of a number of individuals who went to extreme lengths to get her the last remaining doll of its kind in Ireland. The much desired doll is in extremely short supply and an extensive search of the major toystores in Cork and Kerry had proved fruitless. Thanks to her cousin's husband, Mr Shay Burke, who performed an internet search , 1 remaining Moxie Girlz Magic Hair Makeover was located in Argos, Monaghan and reserved for 24 hours. Although Monaghan is a long distance from Kerry,  finding transportation was only half of the battle. The main dilemma was identifying a courier company that would handle cash, as Argos would not part with the doll without a cash payment. Eventually a courier named Adrian from K& L courier services, Monaghan, agreed to pay and collect and thanks to his humanitarian spirit and that of Breeda at K&L courier services in Milstreet the doll arrived safely in Kenmare this afternoon. The girl's mother, who would rather not be named , would like to thank everyone who assisted her and would like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to Adrian on the birth of his new baby.
