Gardai in Monaghan have arrested a 33 year old man, following the discovery of a significant drugs haul.

500 thousand euro worth of Herbal Cannabis was seized by Gardaí when they stopped and searched a truck at Lismeenan, in Castleshane at around 6 o’clock yesterday evening.

The man is currently being questioned at Monaghan Garda Station, under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
