RISE AND SHINE FOR CHILDLINE!

October 3rd - 9th this year is Breakfast Week!  Hundreds of Breakfast events will take place all over Ireland as families, friends, crèches, schools, youth groups and companies hold breakfasts as part of the Cheerios Childline Breakfast Together Week.

Over the last 23 years, the ISPCC Childline service has always been here for Ireland’s children – 24 hours a day, every day of the year. We’ve helped over 3 million children to date, including a record 540,000 in 2010 alone. This simply would not have been possible without the generosity of the public.

Yet, with over 2,000 children contacting Childline every day and limited funds, we still struggle to answer every child that needs us.  Just one child unanswered is one too many, but we need your help to raise the vital funds necessary to make our vision a reality.

Speaking at the launch of the Cheerios Childline Breakfast Together Week Margie Roe, Childline Manager said “Cheerios Childline Breakfast Together is a really easy and fun way to raise money for Childline which is such an important cause”.

Party hosts can hold their breakfast at any time of the day, at any venue.  All they have to do is encourage their guests to make a donation for the Breakfast they receive and help raise vital funds for Childline.
