Following the tremendous success of the launch of ‘Star Factor’ in Dundalk in May of this year, the team is currently fully immersed in planning and preparation for the next venture, which will hit the social stage of Monaghan in September 2011.

Like the previous venture the competition will take the form of the traditional competitive contest with an audition process, followed by a series of heats, culminating in a grand final which will take place on _______.

All auditions, heats and final show will take place in the Hillgrove Hotel and the crowned ‘Star Factor’ winner will receive a phenomenal cash prize of 1000 euro.

AUDITIONS WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE HILLGROVE HOTEL 3RD AND 4TH SEPTEMBER BETWEEN 2PM-5PM

The competition is open to all, regardless of age, gender, music influence etc and will primarily seek talented contributors who have a passion for music and dance.  Performers may entertain individually or as a group or dance troupe.

This competition will run, in this format, throughout various counties in Ireland and the winner of each contest will secure a place in the All-Ireland ‘Star Factor final’ which will take place in summer 2012.

The aim of ‘Star Factor’ is to promote the wealth of home grown talent here in Ireland and to provide a platform for our own talented artists to perform and gain the recognition they truly deserve.  Think ‘X-factor,’ think ‘Pop Idol,” think ‘Got to Dance’ and you will get a taste of what this competition is all about.
