Last Friday, in Italian style sun shine, McGuigan Motors in association with Northern Sound gave away a Fiat Punto Evo Multijet Diesel Car valued at €17,000 with its super economy and €104 annual road tax.  The Lucky Winner, who drove away in the fabulous car was Kieran Ryan of  79 Drumnaveil, Cootehill, Co. Cavan.

After over a month long phone competition with Northern Sound it was eventually narrowed down to 20 finalists, 10 from Monaghan and 10 from Cavan who were greeted with Tea/Coffee at McGuigan’s on the balmy Friday afternoon.  Johnny O’Keefe and Sean McCaffrey with help from their Northern Sound Team kept everybody entertained throughout the afternoon and made everybody feel as ease.  The finalists eagerly competed through two knockout stages and then we were left with 6 contestants who’s only job was to pick the envelope that contained the winning key.  The excitement was electric as Kieran was first up and correctly picked the winning key.  With members of his family present Kieran opened the car to shouts of excitement from everyone present in the courtyard at McGuigan Motors where everybody was treated to food and refreshments al fresco style.  We would like to congratulate Kieran and hope he enjoys many years of happy motoring in his new Fiat Punto, he already knows the virtues of this car as a close family member, Mr. James Finnegan purchased  a similar car only weeks ago.
