HIGHVIEW – GREYHOUND.

HIGHVIEW_GH

Meet Highview, an ex-racer! He is 3 years old and due to a recent injury is now retired and ready to be a companion dog. He is a gentle fella who enjoys human company and was very sociable with all the other Greyhounds he met.

Greyhounds as Pets:  Greyhounds are quiet, gentle, and loyal to owners. Generally, the Greyhound is not a barker. They are very loving creatures, and they enjoy the company of their humans. Greyhounds live most happily as pets in quiet environments. They have a sensitive nature, and gentle commands work best as training methods. A very common misconception regarding Greyhounds is that they are hyperactive. In retired racing Greyhounds, this is usually not the case, Greyhounds generally spend the majority of the day fast asleep on a soft bed, and are happy with a short walk. Greyhounds can live comfortably as apartment dogs, as they do not require much space and sleep close to 18 hours per day. In fact, due to their calm temperament, Greyhounds can make better "apartment dogs" than smaller, more active breeds.

SMOKEY – COLLIE MIX

SMOKEY_PUP

Smokey is a young and playful Collie mix juvenile male pup approx. 4 months old. He is super friendly and needs all his training, but is at the perfect age to begin learning his canine manners. If you are home most of the day and are ready to take on a young one, Smokey might be perfect. He will be a medium sized fella when fully grown.
