Monaghan E-Commerce Network – launch night – Tuesday May 24^th 7.00pm at The Four Seasons hotel Monaghan

On Tuesday evening at 7.00 pm the very first meeting of the Monaghan E-Commerce Network will take place in the Four Seasons Hotel Monaghan.

There are a growing number of businesses in Monaghan trading and promoting themselves on line and often the most beneficial and practical advice they receive is from a fellow on line retailer rather than a so called web or social media guru. With this in mind a number of businesses in Monaghan thought that it would be a good idea to share their  experiences in order to encourage each other , and more importantly perhaps to help others avoid the mistakes that they’ve made.

Paul Bond , director of Bond Safety, has helped to organise the gathering. “ We launched an online store selling work boots and work wear as www.brixworkwear.com in March 2010 and we have learnt a lot in that time. We studied all of the reports, read all the books, consulted the consultants, watched the webinars but we learnt more from a chance meeting and a 5 minute chat with Adam and Evija from the www.irishbarber.com .

Fintan Gallagher who is also helping organise the event  launched www.Monaghanlife.ie in May 2010 also noted that " I too have learnt alot the past year that I have been in business  by talking to people in business and found out what has worked for them. I believe that by working together and sharing our own experiences will help all business' grow"

It can seem daunting when starting out selling on line, and even when you’re up and running there is always the fear that you’re missing something. So a casual forum where Monaghan businesses can meet and help each other out with practical advice can only help.

There is no membership or entrance fee , you are welcome whether you are trading on line or just thinking about it.
