 Iontas Castleblayney are the proud recipients of the FAS Excellence Through People Standard Award. News arrived last week that Iontas had successfully completed the award. The Excellence Through People programme is run through FAS and is a National Standard for Human Resource Management. The Standard is used by many of Ireland's most progressive and successful organisations to become more efficient, productive, flexible, competitive and innovative. It is the only quality standard dedicated to the role of people and their impact on business. Iontas management and staff worked hard throughout 2010 putting in place the Excellence Through People Framework. With their final audit taking place in February, it was great news to hear that Íontas had successfully completed the award – scoring very highly in all areas of the award. It is a credit to all Íontas employees – who’s efforts in attaining the award were commendable. Iontas also wish to extend their thanks to local company Training for Excellence - AnnMarie McHugh for her invaluable expertise in facilitating Íontas through the process and also to Cavan - Monaghan LEADER for their support of the project
