Local Councillor Robbie Gallagher is again highlighting the need for proper signage for local hotels and tourist attractions in the county. Cllr Gallagher says that in light of the completion of the three Bypasses of Towns on the N2, Monaghan Town, Carrickmacross and Castleblaney, that the Council/NRA would undertake as a matter of urgency to erect large information signs displaying names of hotels/tourism attractions at the entrances to each town. The North Monaghan Councillor says that the strategy is vital in order to safe guard existing jobs and to protect the interests of local tourism development. |
