Twin's parade organisers have launched a search to find the most sets of twins, triplets, or quadruplets in any one school in Ireland to lead this years Twin(s) + Parade. So far Lisdoonan National School is leading the way with four sets of twins all eager to take part in the Parade on June 4th 2011 when twins, triplets & quadruplets will parade through the town of Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan.

This year the Twin’s Parade is being extended to all multiple births including triplets and quadruplets - so you won't just see double this year!

The Lions Club have organised a family orientated multiple band concert on the Friday night, before Saturday’s fun packed Parade, as well as post parade entertainment for all everyone and their families. Online registration is now open at www.carrickmacross.ie and the organisers expect to easily beat last year’s record of 231. All the proceeds of the Parade will go to support local charities.Twins_Lisdoonan_NS
