April is upon us and the Mr. Personality festival is fast approaching. Paul
Mc Donald from Tydavent Macra will represent Monaghan at the festival which
will take place in Kilkenny from the 15th-17th April. This festival is well
known as one of the most enjoyable weekends away for Macra members. Further

On the 8th of April Newbliss Macra are holding a fundraising table quiz in
Dan’s Bar, Newbliss. Time is yet to be confirmed but again clubs are
encouraged to support. Lough Egish Macra have postponed their fundraising
night until May, Further details will follow.


Volleyball is due to take place this coming weekend, venue and time is yet
tobe confirmed. (Further details are available from Paul on 085-7433417)
Farm skills and other competitions are scheduled for later this month. We
hope these will be strongly contested by the all the counties clubs and some
new names appear on the trophies. New members and anyone interested in Macra
are encouraged to come along to any of these events and get a feel for what
Macra’s all about. You can also contact our training and development

Clubs are reminded that the National elections are currently taking place
with all votes due in early April. All clubs are encouraged to vote, this is
your chance to have a say in the running of Macra so make your vote count.
