Problems with an AIB ATM machine on Castleblayney’s Main Street have been resolved.

Councillor David Funcheon informed members at the monthly meeting of Castleblayney Town Council on Tuesday evening that he had met with the bank’s manager on the issue. The manager assured Cllr Funcheon that the machine is now in good working order and apologised for any inconvenience caused to members of the public.

It is understood that the facility was often out of order for considerable periods of time including bank holidays causing what Cllr Funcheon described as “undue heartache” for both business owners and the general public.
