| Next Meeting of GIY (Grow It Yourself) Monaghan on Wednesday 6th April 2011 at 7.30pm sharp at The Market House, Monaghan. There'll be a POD discussion on potatoes starting promptly at 7.30pm , announcements, a talk on beekeeping by Armagh / Monaghan Beekeepers.This will be followed by a Q & A session and the April vegetable calendar. In order to cover our running costs we would like to ask for a contribution of €2 per person. This money will only be used for the running of GIY and is governed by Revenue charity rules. GIY networks aim to take the ''self'' out of ''self-sufficiency'' by getting back-garden growers together on a regular basis to talk, learn from each other and exchange tips, produce and war-stories! The meetings are open to people interested in food growing at all levels, i.e. from growing a few herbs on the balcony to complete self-sufficiency, from beginners to old hands.
