| Commenting on the liquidation of IFAP, IFA President John Bryan said the Irish Farmers Association had worked closely with the International Federation of Agricultural Producers over the years and were disappointed that due to unforeseen circumstances, it had gone into liquidation. Mr Bryan said IFA had strongly supported the work of IFAP in organising farmers in less-developed countries. He said through the European Farmers’ Association COPA, IFA would work on developing an appropriate replacement structure to carry on the work of IFAP. |
