Saturday 5th March Bridge Drama, Co. Wexford “Dark of the Moon” Set in 1920s Appalachia, a story of joy, love, singing, dancing and fear. A young witch boy has fallen for the beautiful Barbara Allen and has asked to be turned human. By Howard Richardson and William Berney

Sunday 6th March Duleek Drama Players, Co. Meath “Bernadette” The story of Bernadette Soubirous whose short life has left a legacy of faith for millions of pilgrims who visit Lourdes. By Michael Ferguson

Wednesday 9th March Backburners, Co. Tyrone “Immaculate” A quick witted comedy which takes a look at the role of religion in 21st century society. By Oliver Lansley

Thursday 10th March St. Dympna’s Drama Soc., Co. Tyrone “The Loves of Cass Maguire” The story of a woman who returns to Ireland after 50 years in the USA and quickly finds herself an outsider. By Brian Friel

Friday 11th March Silken Thomas Players, Co. Kildare “ Angels in America” The story of two couples whose relationships are disintegrating. Set in America against a backdrop of greed, conservatism, sexual politics and the discovery of a new disease AIDS. This play contains some strong language and is recommended for age 16+ By Tony Kushner

Saturday 12th March Prosperous Dramatic Soc., Co. Kildare “November” A comedy set in America where the President has to pardon a couple of turkeys before they are slaughtered for Thanksgiving, in an attempt to win back public support. By David Mamet
