The hilarious madcap comedy ‘God’s Official’ starring legendary Irish actor, Mick Lally, George McMahon (Mondo - ‘Fair City’) and rising star Edwin Mullane will be staged at Íontas Theatre, Castleblayney on Saturday, 22nd May at 8.30pm.

The play tells of the consequences resulting from a referee’s dodgy decision - two football fans have just seen their side relegated after a referee disallowed a perfectly good goal, allowing the opposition to go down the other end and score. The referee's decision is final...or is it?

The two lads decide to take matters into their own hands and kidnap the referee to force him to change his mind on the all important goal, with hilarious and unexpected consequences. This may not be ‘The Crying Game’ – but there will be just as many surprises!
