*** Using Customer Service to increase Your Bottom Line ***

There is an old adage in business “it costs 8 times as much to attract a new customer as it does to keep an existing one”. In a time when every customer counts for small and medium sized businesses, customer care is more important than ever.

Robbie Richardson, Director of Customer Focus, in conjunction with Louth County Enterprise Board and DkIT, hosted a free Customer Care seminar in the Regional Development Centre.  The Boardroom was packed to capacity as the audience learned how to use customer service techniques as a means to increase sales, retain customers and improve that all important bottom line. Robbie’s engaging style had attendees captivated as he demonstrated the benefit of consistently providing excellent customer service and engaging customers. Robbie was also joined by Karen Devine of Devine Hospitality discussing how to ensure staff truly understands what your customer experiences.

86% of consumers quit doing business with a company because of a bad customer experience, up from 59% 4 years ago. So now more than ever, customers are becoming very choosy who they do business with and expect an excellent customer experience, everytime. If not, they will go to your competitor,” Robbie explained.
